I also thank God for leading me to you in my search for a positive solution to multiple fibroids, adenomyosis, and extreme anemia. I have such respect for you and your work. I was nearly demented with worry about my condition and each doctor I had consulted previously was full of dire predictions of cancer, bleeding to death, and the conviction that I didn't need my uterus. Each doctor insisted I needed a hysterectomy. Once I met you absolutely all those worries just ceased. Your confidence, experience and caring attitude are so very special and I think unique to you. It is now a month since my successful myomectomy and I feel absolutely great. I had a speedy recovery from surgery, I have my energy level back and I have regained my personality as well. Kathy NJ 11/07/2004 I went to a doctor on my husband's HMO list because I knew something was wrong. I had an ultrasound and the next day received a call from the nurse. She insisted I should have a hysterectomy. After all, I was 43 years old and my husband and I had decided not to have children. She was so relentless that, when she put me on hold for just a second, I had to hang up on her. I knew then I was on my own -- so I turned to the internet. After a short time searching, I found you. And, you were in my neck of the woods! The minute I met you, I knew everything was going to be just fine. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. My husband was still unsure. After all, it's not the best way to find a doctor when you need major surgery. So, I brought him along the day of my blood work. He left the meeting with the same confidence in you that I had. I so much appreciated your directness, your manor, and your expertise. Thank you so much Dr. West, for actually caring about women -- in my experience, most doctors only think they do. Jill 38240 09/13/2004 Dear Dr. West Yesterday was two weeks since my surgery and I feel fantastic. I?m back at the gym (taking it easy of course) back running my business (part-time when I feel like it) and I cannot believe how alive I feel! There is simply no way to thank you adequately for what you have done for me. As I promised, I have purchased two more copies of your book and I?m sending them to the two physicians who told me hysterectomy was my only option. I hope to find the words to get them to open their minds. At least I can try. Most of all I want to thank you for your warmth and kindness. You made me trust you and you did not betray that trust. You delivered on everything you promised. You are what doctors used to be. I pray that others will follow in your footsteps. What you have done for me is so very sweet.
